Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 24, 2010

IVR Technologies, Inc., a leading software developer of IP-based enhanced services and real-time billing solutions, announced today that they have added a Google Android compatible version to their popular Talking SIP Mobile smartphone line. Talking SIP Mobile is available on leading smartphone platforms like Blackberry®, Windows Mobile®, iPhone® and now Google Android to facilitate direct and callback calling from a mobile handset at significant cost savings over the typically exorbitant mobile international long distance rates charged by mobile carriers. Talking SIP Mobile smartphone applications are just some of the many in-demand and innovative services offered on the Talking SIP solution, which offers a fully integrated application, media and billing server, to drive revenue and higher margin to service providers’ next-generation networks.

Today’s mobile calling plans offer economical local and domestic calling, while international long distance calling is still prohibitively expensive – especially when roaming. Unfortunately, more cost-effective solutions for mobile users, such as calling cards and fixed-mobile convergence, are cumbersome and protract the calling process. On the other hand, the Talking SIP Mobile smartphone application provides an extremely simple and straightforward way to make long distance calls while at the same time realizing significant cost savings.

Talking SIP Mobile for the Google Android OS provides tight integration to the phone’s native dialer to allow the option of configuring a series of rules to govern when the application is used. Once configured, the user simply dials as they normally would on the telephone’s keypad or from the Contact list and Talking SIP Mobile, working in the background, will seamlessly determine how the call should be serviced based on these rules.

By offering applications that are so tightly integrated into the phone, mobile users can now make international long distance calls in the same manner and with the same quality as regular calls but at significant cost savings. In addition, next-generation service providers are able to drive additional revenue and margin to their networks by capturing long distance traffic that is currently being serviced by mobile carriers. The Talking SIP solution can service calling card and callback requests from mobile subscribers located anywhere in the world – thus removing any and all geographic boundaries to the service provider’s target market.

“The integration of Talking SIP into the Google Android smartphone platform offers compelling cost savings for mobile subscribers and tremendous opportunity for the next-generation service provider. The Google Android is a new mobile OS that is fast becoming a favorite amongst smartphone users and mobile handset manufactures and will only continue to grow in popularity. With Talking SIP Mobile’s tight integration with the phone’s contacts and native dialer, it offers a seamless, efficient and cost effective means for users to stay in touch with their customers, colleagues, family, and friends regardless of where they live.

As the mobile market continues to grow at an astounding rate it remains one of the last frontiers for high margin termination revenues. As a result of this opportunity, IVR Technologies has been quick to port Talking SIP Mobile across the most popular mobile operating systems to help our customers drive as much mobile revenue as possible to their networks. We are always looking for new and innovative ways for our carrier customers to build margins, increase revenues and add to their subscriber base and Talking SIP Mobile delivers on all these fronts,” said Randall Walrond, Vice-President of Product Development, IVR Technologies, Inc.
