Opinions on the LG Fathom?
Question by Charles: Opinions on the LG Fathom?
I’m looking into getting a new Verizon phone, and I think i like the LG Fathom VS750 Unlocked GSM Worldphone
. A question i have though is that, it says it has the “android market”, does that mean i would get all the same apps as a droid would? and would i be able to get the caller id faker app where i could call my friend and it would appear to come from another phone. Leave opinions about the phone and answers to my questions if you can, Thank you!

All Android phones have access to the same market, but the LG Fathom is not an Android phone.
The LG Fathom is an old, obsolete phone that you most certainly do not want. It’s running Windows Mobile 6.5 and has absolutely nothing going for it. It got bad reviews when it came out ( http://mobile.engadget.com/2010/05/24/lg-fathom-vs750-review/ ) ( http://www.laptopmag.com/review/cell-phones/lg-fathom-verizon-wireless.aspx ) in May of 2010, and it hasn’t got any better since then.
I would suggest to buy the Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 Unlocked Phone, it’s really a good Android Phone.
